Some may say that everyone or all care companies ‘care’, however when we say that at TRU2CARE, we don’t just say it, we show it with everything we do.

We are always willing to go above and beyond and will strive to ensure that all our clients needs, and expectations are met with dignity and respect.

The Two of us have travelled a long road to get to where we are, working for different care agencies and settings. We all really loved what we were doing, however we always felt like something was missing.

It was never a case of it being the same thing everywhere we went, but different things at each different stage of our roles in the care sector.

We met at the last care company we worked at and instantly clicked; it was like we had been working together for years. We shared the same passion and soon realised that we wanted to make a change in the way care is delivered.

We are all great believers that we must support everyone involved in the care provided, this includes, staff, friends, and family of the clients and of course the clients themselves.

Richard asked one day, what we think he brings to the table, well, where do we start, he is the most caring and genuine gentle man we have come across with this real intense passion to be there for everyone. Richard spent many of his days off supporting clients when no one else was available. He would always say, ‘it makes them happy, it makes them smile, so why wouldn’t I’. Richard has dedicated his life to the care industry, and we have no doubt, he will continue to do so, ensuring the change we all want comes to fruition.

He has so much knowledge. Would you believe, Richard can even support our clients with physiotherapy needs as well as support anyone who may have a spinal injury. He took the time, to learn, train and focus on what he felt was important and is now able to deliver this to our clients.

Somewhere along the line, we realised that if we put everything, we found was missing from all the care agencies and settings we worked for, we would be able to ensure that we can and will provide the care that every individual deserves.

That’s Cheryl’s favorite saying, ‘we need to give everyone the care they deserve’ and we couldn’t agree more.  Cheryl has the most amazing laugh and smile, and our clients are guaranteed to have a huge smile on their faces when Cheryl has been to see them.

No matter what Cheryl may have going on, there has never been a time she has missed out on a day to see her clients. Cheryl has the biggest heart we have come across and her knowledge amazes us.  Cheryl has so much knowledge with Dementia, epilepsy and End of Life Care. She is simply incredible.

 

So there you have it, us Two partners who met unexpectedly and just knew without having to say anything that we are meant to make a difference and we will. We will support our clients with anything, from companionship, household tasks, days out, physiotherapy, emotional support, medication support, personal care and end of life support.

We will always go above and beyond for our clients, however we also want their families to know that we will provide support for them. This could be anything from having a cup of tea with them or bringing them along for a training session to help them understand what their family member may be going through. To ensure that they know they aren’t alone, and we will be with them every step of the way.
